We are running a number of events to promote the Tong 600 appeal. Details wll be added to this page as they become available.

Sunday 22nd August 2010, 6pm	A Church Service celebrating 600 years of Tong Church Preacher : The Right Reverend Bishop of Lichfield
Thursday 16th September 2010, 7pm	Conservation and Weston Park A talk by Gareth Williams, Curator of Weston Park. We are delighted to welcome Gareth Williams to the Parish Hall at 7pm to speak on the fascinating topic of the challenges of conserving Weston's exquisite and highly valuable collections. Tickets £12 to include cheese and wine.
Tuesday 21st September 2010	Tall Tales from Tong A talk by Rob Stallard at Pangbourne Village Hall, Berkshire. Rob Stallard helped Robert Jeffery produce the 'Discovering Tong' book. In this light hearted evening talk (starts 7:45pm) will survey the various tales that have associated themselves with Tong over the years. Light refreshments available. The 'Discovering Tong' book will be available for purchase at this event. For more details please see Tong Tales page.
Autumn	The Little Big Band of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra is coming to Tong Church in the Autumn. Details to follow.
